Commissioned by the State of Texas as a law enforcement officer in 1998, Marissa L. Wallace rose to the the rank of senior corporal in the Dallas Police Department. Her valuable experience as a DPD patrol officer prepared her for appointment to the force’s Central Deployment Unit. She continued her police work as a covert officer on special assignments for the DPD Vice and Criminal Intelligence units. With more than 26 years of combined law enforcement and private investigative experience, her specialty is partnering in high profile criminal defense cases and assisting the attorney in preparing for trial by interviewing witnesses and gathering evidentiary materials for the defense team. Marissa's specialty also includes video production for demonstrative exhibits, focus groups and Federal sentencing.

Bertriam Thomas has over 25 years of experience as a Texas-licensed Private Investigator and has been with Wallace Investigations since 2010. He also brings seven years of Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAG) experience from his service in the US Army.
With a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Project Management, Bertriam delivers specialized investigative services for corporate, private, and high-profile clients, as well as customized security solutions for risk management cases.
The foundation of Bertriam’s success is his ability to combine time management and problem-solving skills to effectively execute sensitive and complex investigations. Known for his professionalism and thoughtfulness, he serves as a point of contact for clients and their families throughout the legal process ensuring that their questions and concerns are handled with care.
Bertriam is licensed as a Private Investigator, Personal Protection Officer (Level IV), LTC holder, and Commissioned Security Officer with the Texas Department of Public Safety.
As an investigator with Wallace Investigations since 2013, Whitney Harding brings her 35 years of experience in the mental health field. Whitney's broad background in community work and her reach into education, social services, mental health and crisis counseling (suicide) are critical tools for locating and interviewing witnesses of all ages. Whitney's professionalism and empathy in her work brings a human contact for the people she interviews as well as the Client and their family. Whether State or Federal criminal investigations, this makes the investigative process less stressful for the defense team and the client. Whether she is working on a person locate or a high profile criminal investigation, Whitney's diplomatic and discretionary skills of locating, interviewing and bringing the evidence required to trial have proven to be unmatched.

Jenny H. Crandall studied psychology and business at T.C.U. She joined Wallace Investigations in 2019 to pursue a long held interest in private investigation. Prior to this, she established success as a headhunter in healthcare and technology. Recruiting taught Jenny the essential private investigator skills of interviewing, evaluation, building rapport, and critical thinking. She has collaborated with attorneys in over 150 state felony as well as federal investigations and has been entrusted to work multiple high-profile cases using her experience, professionalism, and discretion.
Jenny also has experience testifying in state and federal cases. Using skills accrued during her time as a headhunter, Jenny is a valuable resource in healthcare or Medicare fraud cases.

Santiago Moya had a 23-year career as an FBI Agent before joining Wallace Investigations in 2019. He retired honorably from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, where he investigated a variety of federal crimes, including transnational drug organizations, kidnappings, extortions and bank robberies. After retirement, Santiago started Moya Precision & Safety (MPS), a high level firearms training company serving civilians, military contractors and law enforcement personnel. Santiago is a sought after private investigator and expert witness focusing his time to serve his clients and attorneys in the Collin County area outside of Dallas. Santiago specializes in State and Federal criminal investigations. Santiago is a licensed Private Investigator with the Texas Department of Public Safety, a fluent Spanish speaker and a graduate of the FBI Surveillance School.
Shea Griffin is an experienced mitigation specialist and investigator with a strong background in federal defense, client advocacy, and criminal justice. Obtaining her law degree in 2019, Shea chose to expand her licenses and join Wallace Investigations in 2025. Her proven ability to conduct in-depth client and witness interviews, develop detailed social histories, record collection and write persuasive sentencing memorandums that humanize clients and support effective defense strategies has gained her a reputation with attorneys and experts as a competent advocate in high stakes cases. Shea is also skilled in producing sentencing videos for Federal cases. With her background and law degree, she can anticipate the needs of the attorney and client.
